Texas Geography Student Research Symposium (GSRS)

The Department of Geography at Texas State University is hosting a one-day “Geography Student Research Symposium (GSRS)” to showcase geography student research from area colleges. The Symposium is scheduled for Friday, March 23rd and will be held on the Texas State University Campus in San Marcos.

ACC GIS students are welcome to attend, present a poster or paper, sit in on topical panels, and even participate in a GeoBowl competition. Dr. Thom Hardy, Chief Science Officer from the Meadows Center for the Environment, will be the keynote speaker.

Whether you desire to make an oral or poster presentation, or simply plan to attend the GSRS, we ask that you register at http://www.geo.txstate.edu/txgsrs.html by Friday, 9 March 2018 by 5:00pm so we can get a head-count for food.
