Guest Speaker Series: Tim Nolan

This week the GIS@ACC Program welcomes a new virtual guest speaker. 

Tim Nolan
Senior Applications Manager at Collin County, TX

In this live web meeting Tim Nolan will present "Visualize Your Work and Experience Flow".  Do you have a “to do” list for work? Have you ever added something to your “to do” list just so you can scratch it off? You will learn several techniques to manage your own personal workload and increase your focus and productivity no matter where you’re working from. By the end of the session, you will have the necessary tools to get your work life in order and get stuff done.

Tim Nolan is the Senior Applications Manager at Collin County, TX, where he heads up the County’s GIS, applications integration, database administration, records management, and web services. Tim has over 25 years of experience leveraging data, GIS, and IT solutions for local government/municipal technology initiatives. 

Additionally, Tim is a seasoned practitioner and leader in Scrum and Agile and is passionate about sharing success stories in collaborative and personal project management frameworks. He has a Geography degree from the University of North Texas, is a Certified GIS Professional (GISP), and completed the Certified Government Chief Information Officer (CGCIO) program in 2009. 

Tim has appeared in Esri’s (ArcGIS) 2016 ArcWatch magazine, served as president of the South Central Arc User Group (a GIS professional collaborative) and is an active leader in the GIS and IT community.
