Job Description
Administers and manages the City Graphical Information System (GIS), corresponding data, related services, and functions that support the Development Services Department operations and all City Departments. This position is the primary contact for all City GIS data management, coordination, and serves as a liaison between City departments, Burnet County Appraisal District (BCAD), Burnet County, Capital Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG), private entities/consultants, and other governmental and non-governmental organizations. Provides support in subdivision, planning, and zoning activities and in review of surveys, plats, and site plans. Performs job duties promoting the organizational core values, conducts business and executes duties/services building rapport and trust with all customers, citizens, developers, industry professionals, City staff, politicians, and the general public. Duties require consistent demonstration of a professional and positive image of the department and City organization.
