ACC Launches Online GIS Certificate for Texas Residents

Are you seeking entry-level GIS employment?  Do you want to update or expand your skills as a GIS Professional?

Don't have time to sit on campus during the week?  Unable to find classes or training near you?

We have your solution!

Austin Community College GIS is launching a NEW accelerated online GIS program open to all Texas residents. 

This competency based education (CBE) program includes six online courses (20 semester hours and 512 contact hours) of self-paced curriculum to be completed over an 8 to 24 month period under the guidance of a full-time GIS professor. Students that demonstrate mastery of all course topics and individual skills will receive their GIS Level I Workforce Certificate designed for entry-level GIS employment and existing GIS professionals seeking to update or expand their skills.  The tuition is just $1700 for the entire program once you become an ACC enrolled student.
