Call for GIS Tutors - 2019 Spring Semester

Has a fellow GISer ever helped you with a technical question? If so, here's your chance to pay it forward. Become a tutor for the ACC GIS department and add great work experience to your resume! The pay for tutoring is $13.50 per hour. 

We plan on having tutors available at the following times:

Monday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at NRG 3207 (TENTATIVE)
Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at NRG 3207 (TENTATIVE)

Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at NRG 3207 (TENTATIVE)

Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at NRG 3207 (Mayra Z.)

Thursday from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at NRG 3207 (TENTATIVE)
Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at NRG 3218 (Casey G.)

The slots are tentative and can broken up into smaller shifts, so please forward your preferences, even if they don't line up with the proposed schedule above. Current and former ACC GIS Tutors will receive priority, but we will try to reserve slots for new tutors as well. Please email your responses to the following questions to Jennifer Black at jennifer.black@austincc.edu by Tuesday, January 29th.

2. If you haven't tutored before, what is your GIS work and/or course experience?

We will review all of the responses and send out an email with tutoring assignments by Wednesday, January 30th. The tutoring schedule will begin on Saturday, February 9th and run through Thursday, May 16th. Thank you for your interest and we look forward to receiving your replies.
