Please join us for the ACC GIS Student Showcase at Sunset Valley City Hall this Friday, December 14th from Noon to 1 PM. Our students have teamed up with the City of Sunset Valley to analyze topics of interest to Sunset Valley officials and residents, including:
- Prioritizing Structures for Hardening Homes Against Wildfire
- Analyzing Residential and Commercial Street Lighting
- Mapping and Analyzing Impervious Cover
- Performing a Retail Market Analysis
- Assessing the Impact of Atlas 14 on Sunset Valley Floodplains
- Mapping Coyote Incidents in Sunset Valley and Austin
Attendees are invited to learn about the student projects, visit with each other, and enjoy some snacks.
