Mobile GIS Account Manager with AllTerra Central

AllTerra Central is seeking candidates for a Mobile GIS Account Manager (MAM) to aid the local MGIS sales representative in daily sales, support, training and rental needs.

The MAM will work from the Austin, TX office and primary responsibilities will consist of working with existing Geospatial customers in the Central Texas territory.  This will involve making weekly calls to existing customers for sales opportunities, support/training, and visiting existing clients.  You will support the sales reps with new customer sales by setting up new gear, technical support and paid training.  You will be expected to help around the office in busy times and to help with Survey Sales when asked.  There may be times when you will help with inventory and equipment rentals.

The equipment dynamic is to sell existing MGIS equipment to existing MGIS customers. As you identify new needs for MGIS customers and as new leads are identified for the MX7/GeoSLAM/TX or SX10, you will be expected to pass to a sales representative. Some GIS Services/Training will be required by this role. 

Job Requirements:

  • 2 year or 4 year degree in GIS or related study.
  • Experience in working with ESRI ArcGIS platform.
  • Must be able to travel when necessary for onsite training and/or support to customers in the Central Texas territory.  
  • Ability to perform technical support in a GIS arena.  Primarily ESRI.

Other specific training will be provided for Technical Support of Trimble and other items carried by the employer.
