A small Civil Engineering firm located in Lakeway, Texas is seeking a GIS/Field Technician.
Candidates should have GIS related experience in spatial data creation, editing and conversion using ArcMap. Familiarity with CAD profile and plan layout experience a plus!
Field Technician duties consist of collecting data relevant to existing utilities and other site features, typically located in public Right-Of-Way.
Candidate must be willing to work and learn, must have good attitude, and be able to work long hours outside. General understanding of utilities and construction is advantageous.
Bachelors degree in Cartography, Geography, GIS or related field preferred.
Typical work hours are weekday daytime hours, as well as an occasional weekend day, when necessary. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
