The Human Resources Division of the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) will be attending the 2021 NUL Virtual Career Fair scheduled to take place on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (eastern standard time).
We are currently recruiting top talent for paid positions in Civil Engineering, Environmental, Financial, Geographic Information Systems, Geoscientist, Human Resources, Hydrologist and Information Technology.
Human Resources is also recruiting for voluntary internships. If you know of any students or recent grads looking for volunteer internship opportunities and can commit between 10 to 40 hours per week, encourage him or her to attend the Career Fair and meet with Human Resources.

The idea being if a network device responds, there is something there that the hacker can then explore further and potentially exploit. You can make it harder for attackers by simply setting your network router or firewall so that it won't respond to network pings.
