The City of Cedar Park is seeking qualified applicants for the GIS Data Development Intern position. This is a temporary part-time position lasting approximately three to five (3-5) months. The intern will assist in the creation of City easement data; create water, wastewater, and storm water data; edit street segments for emergency response; create plans in Parcel Fabric; and create/maintain metadata. The Pedernales Electrical Coop (PEC) GIS Department is seeking a GIS Intern to work on projects and/or tasks such as:
- Learn GIS Mapping and associated systems
- Learn various job functions throughout the department and the support required
- Edit attributes in mapping system
- Assist with work on special map requests
